Barbara, Office Manager

I began my career at Oak Park Dental in 1986 as a dental assistant and now serve as office manager. Helping patients feel welcome and cared for is the most rewarding part of my work—and I’m lucky to do it alongside such a fun and caring team.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my two grown sons, and their families—especially my four wonderful grandchildren. I love traveling in our fifth wheel trailer with family and friends, as well as cooking, baking, and relaxing with a good book.

Tiffany, Insurance Coordinator

Hi, I’m Tiffany and I’ve been in the dental field for over 18 years and love helping patients feel comfortable during their visits. One of my favorite parts of the job is seeing people leave with a smile they’re proud of.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking with my dog or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Kayla, Treatment Coordinator

Hello! My name is Kayla, and I have been a front desk treatment coordinator for over 2 years at Oak Park Dental. I really enjoy interacting with all types of people at the front desk and helping them feel comfortable at the dental office.

Elana, Hygiene Coordinator

I’ve been in the dental world since 2019, and what I love most about working at the front desk is getting to meet new people every day. No two days are ever the same, which keeps things interesting!

I also love to craft, both in and outside of the office; whether it’s decorating for the seasons or putting together something creative just for fun. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends or traveling around the country with my husband.

Melissa, Treatment Coordinator

Hello, my name is Melissa. I’ve worked in the dental field for over four years, and one of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping patients rediscover their confidence through their smiles.

When I’m not in the office you’ll find my crafting with my 12-year-old daughter or chauffeuring her and her friends to do their many activities.

Laurie, Hygienist

I am Laurie, and I have been a hygienist at Oak Park Dental for 36 years. I am a mom to 3 grown boys and grandma to 3 wonderful grandchildren.

The best part of my job is getting to know patients over long period of time & the friendships that come with that. I like knowing my patients leave feeling good about their dental care.

In my off time, I enjoy traveling, gardening and walking with my dogs.

Karen, Hygienist

I graduated from OHSU in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and have been with Oak Park dental for 22 years. I love the relationships I’ve been able to build over the years.

I’m a busy mom of three, and recently added “grandma” to the list; which might just be the best role yet? Our family is busy with football, basketball, and softball. On my days off, you’ll usually find me chasing my energetic grandchild. When I do get a quiet moment, I enjoy relaxing with some crafting.

Meghan, Hygienist

I graduated in 2019 from the Oregon Institute of Technology. My goal as your Hygienist is to make the appointment as comfortable and calm for you as I can. I hope to make coming to the dental office something you look forward to! Fun fact is I am bilingual in Spanish.

Oak Park Dental is special to me as it was my dental office growing up. My family is still coming here and now I get the be their Hygienist!

I am a true Oregonian born and raised here in Salem. Family is everything to me and I truly value all my friendships. In my spare time I love working on my property, taking walks with my husband and son, watching and streaming the latest series. When you come in ask me what I am watching or give a recommendation!

Jessica, Hygienist

I graduated March of 2019 from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. One of my all time favorite things about being a Dental Hygienist is education and being able to help others care for their oral health and preventing disease. A few of my passions I have in this career are getting to know my patients, working with kiddos and seeing anxious patients. Building relationships with patients is so important, along with making first visits a great one and turning existing bad experiences into better ones. I love to make everyone feel as comfortable as they can be in a dental chair!

Outside dentistry, I absolutely love traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family, friends and my favorite fur baby's. I love traveling, camping, hiking, spending time at the coast, shopping, listening to country music, etc. If it involves being out of the house, I'm in! Although every once in a while I do love a good evening indoors snuggling up with a blanket and watching my favorite movie, Legally Blonde. You'll come to find that I am a live version of Elle Woods. Hope to meet you guys and/or see familiar faces around this office!

Janelle, Hygienist

I recently joined Oak Park Dental, having over 35 years of experience as a dental hygienist. What I love most about my career are the connections I make with my patients and helping create the best dental experience possible.Outside the office, I enjoy just about any adventure that comes my way and love spending time with my four kids and two granddaughters.

Jasmine, Assistant Lead

I’ve been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant since 2019, and I truly love what I do every day! I didn’t expect to find a career that brought me so much joy, but I did.

Outside of work, I’m happily married and share life with two cats who keep things lively. I enjoy adventuring around the Pacific Northwest, as well as diving into movies and music—often quoting my favorites. You may hear me humming around the office on your next visit. My favorite part of working at Oak Park Dental is the people—our team and patients make every day rewarding.

Haide, Assistant

Hi, I’m Haide, a dedicated dental assistant since 2023. My focus is on you – I genuinely enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and welcomed through every step of their dental treatment journey!

You’ll often spot me in the clinic with fun earrings and hair clips; I love to accessorize to bring a little extra joy and a friendly vibe to your visit. When I’m not assisting, I’m usually shopping or relaxing at home with my family.

Shayla, Assistant

Hi! My name is Shayla. Since 2017, I have been working as a dental assistant, where I’ve discovered a passion for helping people feel comfortable and confident in their smiles by providing a positive and fun dental experience at each visit.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my two dogs, paddle boarding, and tackling fun DIY projects. Fitness is also a big part of my life—it keeps me energized and motivated.

Anna, Assistant

Hi, I’m Anna! I love being in the dental field because I enjoy building personal connections and walking alongside patients throughout their dental journey. I love being able to celebrate the wins in life, whether it’s getting through a tough appointment or reaching a long-term smile goal.

Outside of the office, I enjoy going on walks with my husband and two dogs. We love going out to explore new places and experiences!

Maddie, Assistant

I’ve been a dental assistant since 2022, and I love helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. I especially enjoy the hands-on aspect of the job and the variety each day brings.

Outside of work I love helping kids in the community, planning the next Disney trip with my husband, and playing with my 3 cats. Seeing the positive impact, we make on someone’s oral health is incredibly rewarding and reflects my love for helping others and finding joy in everyday moments.

I’ve been assisting since 2020 and enjoy getting to know our patients and making their dental experience a positive one. I love working with such a fun, amazing team where we aim to build lasting connections with our patients. My greatest joy is being a mom (and planning my next trip to Disney).
