Laurie, Hygienist

With Oak Park since 1989

I graduated from OHSU in 1985 and, except for 3 years overseas, have worked at Oak Park Dental since then. It is a wonderful office and I truly enjoy working here. In my off time, I like to spend time with my children and grandson. I enjoy gardening, crafts, and DIY home projects. I hope to someday travel extensively, including volunteering my dental skills to those in need.

Karen, Hygienist

I graduated from OHSU in 2002 with my Bachelors of Science in dental hygiene. I have a never ending busy schedule as a hygienist, wife and mom to 3 kids. We enjoy being involved in their soccer, basketball, baseball and try to find time for camping in the summer.

I was born and raised in Salem, Oregon and graduated in 2019 from the Oregon Institute of Technology. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, friends and loved ones and my pups! My goal as your hygienist is to make the appointment as comfortable and calm for you as I can. I hope to make coming to the dental office something you look forward to!

Jessica, Hygienist

I graduated March of 2019 from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. One of my all time favorite things about being a Dental Hygienist is education and being able to help others care for their oral health and preventing disease. A few of my passions I have in this career are getting to know my patients, working with kiddos and seeing anxious patients. Building relationships with patients is so important, along with making first visits a great one and turning existing bad experiences into better ones. I love to make everyone feel as comfortable as they can be in a dental chair!

Outside dentistry, I absolutely love traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family, friends and my favorite fur baby's. I love traveling, camping, hiking, spending time at the coast, shopping, listening to country music, etc. If it involves being out of the house, I'm in! Although every once in a while I do love a good evening indoors snuggling up with a blanket and watching my favorite movie, Legally Blonde. You'll come to find that I am a live version of Elle Woods. Hope to meet you guys and/or see familiar faces around this office!
